1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, accessing, browsing or using StudyMateEra, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the StudyMateEra Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Additional rules may apply to particular tests, events, rewards, paid services, games or features. Those rules form part of these Terms when presented to you.
2. About StudyMateEra
StudyMateEra is an educational technology platform operated by Satya Traders, proprietor Shikhar Singh, through studymateera.com and associated applications/services.
The platform may provide examination preparation and community-learning functionality. StudyMateEra is not automatically affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by UPSC, SSC, any State Public Service Commission, banking examination authority, NCERT, or any other examination authority merely because examination names, subjects or previous-year-question references appear on the platform.
3. Eligibility and Lawful Use
You must be legally permitted to use the service and must provide accurate information when required. Where a particular feature has a minimum age or additional eligibility requirement, you must satisfy that requirement.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of StudyMateEra complies with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide information that is accurate and reasonably current.
- You are responsible for protecting your password and account credentials.
- You must not share, sell, transfer or misuse your account.
- You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@studymateera.com.
- You may use available controls to change your username, email, password and other profile information.
StudyMateEra may require verification before allowing certain account changes.
5. Educational Services
StudyMateEra may offer, subject to availability and change:
Question resources from 2015 onward, as available.
Resources covering State PCS examinations.
Resources covering SSC examination categories.
Resources covering banking examination categories.
Additional state-level examination preparation resources.
Subject/topic-based practice assessments.
Chapter tests for Classes 6–12.
Structured tests and performance records.
Content, test availability, question sets, syllabus mappings and features may be modified, replaced or discontinued.
6. Tests, Attempts and Scorecards
Test results and scorecards are generated from the information available to the platform and the applicable test rules. Scores may be affected by corrections, answer-key changes, technical issues, moderation or other legitimate adjustments.
Unless a specific test states otherwise, a StudyMateEra scorecard is a learning and assessment record and is not an official examination result issued by any government or examination authority.
7. Communities and Collaborative Learning
Users may participate in communities based on goals and sub-goals, share doubts and notes, create polls and communicate for collaborative learning.
Community content is created by users and does not necessarily represent the views of StudyMateEra. You must not use communities to harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, scam, spam or unlawfully target another person.
8. Friends and One-to-One Chat
StudyMateEra may allow users to add friends and send one-to-one messages. You are responsible for your communications and should avoid sharing sensitive personal information.
StudyMateEra may provide reporting, blocking, moderation or other safety mechanisms. Messages may be reviewed, preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, security or enforcement of these Terms.
9. User-Generated Content
You may submit doubts, notes, posts, polls, profile information, messages and other content (“User Content”).
You retain rights you may have in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant StudyMateEra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve the service and to make it available through the feature you selected.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that your content does not violate law or another person's rights.
StudyMateEra may remove or restrict User Content where permitted or required by law or where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the platform and its users.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use StudyMateEra for unlawful purposes;
- Impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation with an organization;
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, intimidate or target other users;
- Upload malware, harmful code or material intended to compromise security;
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, databases, APIs, servers or systems;
- Scrape, copy, reproduce or commercially exploit platform content except as permitted by law or written authorization;
- Cheat, manipulate scores, exploit bugs or interfere with tests, games or events;
- Use bots or automated systems to abuse the service;
- Post unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive or infringing material;
- Share another person's confidential or personal information without lawful authority; or
- Use the service in a manner that could reasonably damage the platform, users or third parties.
11. Moderation, Reports and Safety
StudyMateEra may use automated systems, human review, reports and security processes to detect or respond to abuse, fraud, cheating, harmful content and violations.
Actions may include warning, content removal, visibility restriction, feature restriction, temporary suspension, permanent termination or other appropriate measures, subject to applicable law.
Where required by applicable law, StudyMateEra will follow applicable grievance and lawful-content handling procedures.
12. Account Suspension, Deactivation, Disablement and Termination
StudyMateEra and its authorized administrators reserve the full right, subject to applicable law, to suspend, disable, restrict, deactivate, freeze or terminate any account, access or feature.
Such action may be taken where StudyMateEra considers it reasonably necessary, including for violation of these Terms, misuse, cheating, fraud, harassment, security threats, unlawful activity, harmful content, repeated complaints, manipulation of tests/games/events, non-payment, or risk to users or the platform.
Where appropriate, StudyMateEra may take action immediately and may not provide advance notice when doing so is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or prevention of harm.
Termination does not automatically remove obligations that by their nature should continue, including intellectual-property restrictions, liability provisions, dispute provisions, privacy/retention provisions and payment obligations already incurred.
13. Study Quiz Games and Rooms
StudyMateEra may allow users to create rooms, join rooms or join randomly available rooms for study-related quiz games.
- Game rules may differ by room or game mode.
- Scores and rankings may depend on answers, timing and applicable rules.
- Users must not exploit bugs, collude improperly, manipulate results or interfere with other participants.
- StudyMateEra may cancel, reset, modify or terminate a game when reasonably necessary because of technical issues, cheating, abuse or other legitimate reasons.
14. Events and Rewards
Administrators may create test-type events in which eligible participants may receive rewards. Each event may specify eligibility, dates, test rules, tie-breakers, winner determination, verification, reward details and other conditions.
Participation does not guarantee a reward. A reward may be withheld or changed where permitted by applicable law if eligibility cannot be verified, fraud or manipulation is detected, the participant violates event rules, or circumstances outside reasonable control affect the event.
Any tax, documentation or other legal obligation associated with a reward will be handled according to applicable law and the specific event terms.
15. Paid Services, Subscriptions and Payments
Where StudyMateEra offers paid plans or subscriptions, the applicable price, billing period, inclusions and renewal terms will be shown before purchase.
If the platform offers a subscription price of ₹118/month or another price, the price actually displayed at checkout or purchase will control for that transaction, subject to applicable consumer law.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms may also apply.
16. Cancellation and Refunds
Refund eligibility, cancellation and renewal treatment will depend on the purchased service, transaction terms, applicable law and any specific refund policy displayed at purchase.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party material, StudyMateEra and its licensors retain rights in the application, website, software, branding, interface, original text, graphics, databases, design and other proprietary material.
Exam names, examination authority names, syllabi, question papers, marks, logos and other third-party material may belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on StudyMateEra does not by itself imply endorsement or affiliation.
You must not copy, republish, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit proprietary StudyMateEra material except as permitted by law or written authorization.
18. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by the StudyMateEra Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, retained, disclosed and protected.

19. Account Deletion
You may delete your account through available account controls or by contacting StudyMateEra. Deletion may be subject to identity verification and technical processing time.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of these Terms, accounting or other legitimate purposes.
Content already shared with other users may have been copied, quoted or independently retained by them and may not be capable of complete removal from third-party copies.
20. Service Availability and Changes
StudyMateEra may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features, tests, communities, games, events or other services. We may perform maintenance and may temporarily limit access.
We do not promise that every feature will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted or compatible with every device.
21. Educational and Examination Disclaimer
StudyMateEra is an educational preparation and practice platform. It does not guarantee selection, rank, marks, admission, employment or success in any examination.
Examination dates, syllabi, rules, answer keys and other official information may change. Users should verify important examination information against the relevant official authority.
StudyMateEra may provide educational interpretations, practice questions and community discussions; these should not automatically be treated as official statements of an examination authority.
22. Liability and User Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StudyMateEra is not responsible for losses arising solely from a user's failure to protect credentials, misuse of the service, reliance on unofficial information, user-generated content, third-party services or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer and other mandatory legal protections.
Any jurisdiction clause should be finalized after legal review based on the operator's actual principal place of business and applicable Indian law. This avoids accidentally inserting an incorrect court or jurisdiction into the public Terms.
24. Changes to These Terms
StudyMateEra may update these Terms when features, business practices or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
